Blix Hotel - Vikoyri

The location is fantastic, right by the harbor. the room we stayed in was clean and had a nice balcony to enjoy! 🌅.

The hotel was a decent base for enjoying a historic area, really close to Vikoyri, the Vik bay and the central location and the seashore. The staff were all affable, and the room was quiet with a balcony. Perfect location - only a short distance to everywhere we needed: )

outstanding and clean room with reasonably spacious bathroom. with an electric kettle and a washing machine. location just off the vik bay and the central location, the lake, and norway.

The room was clean and quiet, with some handy features like coffee and tea making supplies and even a washing machine. the staff were friendly and really helpful in every situation. ☕.

The twin room had convenient amenities like multi-channel television, ironing facilities, and a writing desk, while the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the local area.

I always return for the amazing service and comfy rooms. They even arranged an early check-in for me once. With Wi-Fi, free parking, a bar, a restaurant, and more, it's perfect. I'll be back for Christmas!

The included breakfast was a great value, with a variety of hot and cold foods, including local specialties. Sylveringen tours offered a fascinating guided walk to historic sites. The hotel's gift shop had a selection of postcards, books, and locally designed knitwear patterns. The restaurant served delicious meals with beautiful presentation.

The hotel is just a stone throw from the seashore and offers stunning views of the harbor. the staff is very helpful and polite. the breakfast offers a range of hot and cold foods with freshly brewed coffee. the rooms have a comfortable bed and are bright and comfortable with a subtle decor style.

The thin walls can let in some noise from the neighboring rooms, but this can easily be solved with earplugs.

During my Christmas stay, I appreciated the helpfulness of the staff and the proximity of the hotel to a nearby supermarket, which made it easy to stock up on supplies. the local town was quaint and added to the overall charm of the area. My room featured a balcony that provided lovely views of the town.

The bathroom in my room had some drawbacks. The floors were not tiled, which made it seem less hygienic, and the design of the shower caused water to collect on the bathroom floor, which was unpleasant.

The breakfast was ample and the coffee was a great way to start the day. the gift shop offered some unique souvenirs and made it easy to pick up last minute gifts. the location was in a convenient spot, with a supermarket nearby and plenty of parking available.

The walls were thin and we could hear noises from other rooms. the bathroom was not ideal as water from the shower would make the entire floor wet and it was a bit of a nuisance to have to step around puddles.
